Entry Level Software Developer

Job Description
Inuktun Services Ltd. seeks an entry level Software Developer to join its dynamic multi-disciplinary team. As a software developer, you will participate in the design, development, maintenance, and testing of software for control systems for the Inuktun mobile robotic inspection systems and related components. You will participate with other department members (marketing and production), electrical engineers and mechanical engineers to define, create and implement control systems designs and associated documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Work from broadly defined system specifications to determine top-down control architecture; product and maintain the product roadmap documents for systems.
Develop software design for Inuktun product control systems.
Participate in the development of design parameters and architecture, and carry a design from the conceptual stage through to final prototyping and Production.
Formulate solutions to assigned system design problems.
Generate proper commenting / documentation on all code.
Maintain software versioning using proper file management procedures.
Document designs with written operational descriptions and interface design specifications as required.
Provide software support to clients on an as needed basis

Experience Requirements
Qualified applicants must be well versed in.Net, Java, C++, C#, and GUI interface design. Experience with Linux, electrical components and microcontrollers would be an asset.
